
Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council’s 13th meeting took place at the RA Government.
The Council discussed the issue related to granting entrepreneurs running B&B businesses an option to use privileges of family businesses or choose an option to be Turnover tax payer. Another issue on the agenda included the establishment of differentiated approach to the definition of local fees for SMEs. Both issues were approved and the relevant assignments had been given by the Prime Minsiter.
Hovik Abrahamyan also added: “Our goal is to eliminate barriers to SMEs, enable businesses to further strengthen and consistently promote economic development. We need to combine our efforts in order to advance the country”.
On the occasion of completion of the 3-year term in office as a member of the SME Development Council, the Head of Business Support Office passed a certificate of acknowledgement to the Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Executive Director Karen Martirosyan.
